RESULTS OF TASTINGS
Ratings of wines are based on the votes of those present. At most tastings wines are
served blind,i.e., those tasting do not know which wine is which. Each person is asked to
select his or her top three wines from those tasted. The final rating is based on
the total of points assigned to the wine, 3 for a first place vote, 2 for a second
place vote, and 1 for a third place vote.
Wines are shown below in the order in which they were rated with
approximate retail cost in the Kansas City area, and total points voted.
